Inverted Gear is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lifestyle brand, known for their high quality products and affordable prices. Inverted Gear has been the primary sponsor of our Tap Cancer Out BJJ Open tournaments in 2013 and 2014, awarding the top four fundraisers at each tournament with a free Inverted Gear kimono. Inverted Gear is also our merchandise partner, designing and manufacturing our co-branded Gis.
Fight Soap is the world’s ultra premium brand of combat hygiene made for the toughest fighters and athletes on the planet. Fight Soap has attended all of our Spring BJJ Open tournaments, donating ALL of their sales (not just proceeds) to Tap Cancer Out as well as providing competitors with multiple sanitation stations.
Our good friends at Manto have been great partners of ours. We’ve collaborated with them on a number of different merchandise offerings, including our hit “Samurai” rashguards. Alberto, one of the owners, has also served as our head referee, staffing and managing the referees at all of our Tap Cancer Out BJJ Open tournaments.
All of Tap Cancer Out’s shirts, patches and stickers are produced by MassPrint. Owner Carlos Lobato and his team have been supporting Tap Cancer Out since our inception in 2011, awarding each top fundraising team with 50 free custom-designed shirts. Additionally, Carlos is a mainstay as a volunteer at each of our tournaments and is on our Board of Directors.
Some of the most iconic BJJ graphic designers have contributed to our brand including Meerkatsu and John Smalls, but we love Scott’s work so much that we tapped him to create not just a branded shirt in our store but all our tournament collateral including our posters, shirts and medals.
